When Jaden Hodges fanned the last batter of the game to give the Kankakee Junior High baseball team an 8-1 win over Peotone, it sealed a combined no-hitter for Hodges and Kays' starter Jaeden Harris.
The Kays grabbed an early lead scoring on a singles by Max Dickerson, Jayden Harrison, and Hodges in the second inning.
Harris started on the mound for the Kays, allowing no hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out eight. Hodges threw two and a third innings in relief out of the bullpen.
The Kays had ten hits in the game with Lucas Hebert, Jashon Crawford, and Hodges each posted multiple hit games.
